our mission.
Power Back Productions is a production company focused on visually realizing the written words of prominent, deceased black authors. We seek to reclaim the visual media rights of these writer’s works, translate the eternal themes of their stories, and make them once again accessible to a contemporary generation. We strive to give the power of these black voices back to the community for which they wrote.
Power Back Productions will accomplish its mission by adapting these stories into screenplays. Our work is to make sure these stories are told once more, by us, or through the cooperation of other entities with similar missions.
We also aspire to produce our own original ideas.
Because everybody knows, creatives gotta create.
